yesterday we brought four groups together: sharing nature, abilities beyond disabilities, the kids clubhouse, and the stowe center. we got to teach them a little about nature and gardens, and got to learn from the beautiful interaction that occurred. this is a picture of jason , who is developmentally disabled ( i think of him as specially gifted and supercharged with love) and a group of beautiful little kids . jason is leading them in exercises in front of the stowe center in hartford. i couldn't help but feel how joyous h b stowe would have felt if she were watching this from above. disparate peoples celebrating what they all share: the joy of life.
