some people spend their days at the mall 'aquiring more'. some people spend their time doing for others. this is a portrait of friend rita gruener. rita and her husband manfred spend time baking and cooking and then delivering food and goodies to those less fortunate, or friends who are ill. rita and manfred have recently been baking and delivering desserts to my sharing nature groups. they have been doing this for years. rita and manfred, they do acts of beauty, they are art. sitting with rita is don smith who donated tons of plants to the stowe gardens.
